Grandma, Jeannie and I hit the Mall of America this morning! We left here at 9:00 and got there around 9:40 or so. By the time we parked and walked to the mall itself, it was 9:45 and the stores didn't open until 10:00. We were by the Nordstroms, but their doors were all locked until 10:00 so we walked to the main entrance and went in. Things were slowly starting to open. We had a great time and tired ourselves out! We had Caribou Coffee (which we don't have in NJ, so it was my first taste... nothing to write home about). We ate lunch in the food court... Jeannie and I had Arby's while grandma had Chinese.

We hit so many stores... QVC, a ton of Minnesota shops, etc. I picked up stuff for Ron and my grandma bought me a nice Minnesota bag to use as a carry-on for the flight on Sunday... plus she bought both Ron and me Bubba Gump T-shirts and she bought me a set of 5 summer-y earrings... (flip flops, turtles, cosmos, flamingos, and I forget the 5th item).

We had planned to stay at the mall until it was time to go to Bingo, but we were beat. We ended up driving by Jeannie's son's place so she could show us the building he was in. (It's an old warehouse converted to lofts.) Then we drove through the cemetery where their one sister is buried. After that we came home and relaxed for a couple hours before going Bingoing.

Randi joined us tonight at the bingo hall! YAY! SO we had 6 of us in our small group... Randi, grandma, Jeannie, my aunt Pam (Stevie's wife), my grandma's friend June and of course me! I didn't win anything... not even in the birthday drawing. Wahhh. In fact, in our group, only my grandma won and she won twice! Fifty bucks each time for a total of $100. Not too shabby for her, eh?

I can't believe how many different games they have. I had a lot of fun and if I lived in the area, I'm sure I'd go often. I was so happy that Randi joined us too and I hope she had fun even though she didn't win either. Hehe

Now it's bed time. My dad and Kim will be picking me up around 9:00 a.m. and we're heading up to my uncle Tony's house (my dad's bro). Dad told me that my aunt Anita (his sis) may join us too if she can get out of work. So we'll see. Should be fun!
