OOOH! An article that finally hits upon the things that annoy me most
in life... Grammar errors! Heehee...

The best part is that they actually touch on the loose/lose/looser/loser
situation, which is the grammar error that annoys me more so than any
other! I can even deal with improper use of their/there/they're at
times but the lose/loose switch drives me up a wall!
Here's what they say about that...
And now, for two final entrants into the write-it right category:
loose and lose.
This one's easy. Loose rhymes with goose. And as they said in Buffy the
Vampire Slayer, "How loose is your goose? Your goose is totally
loose"--whatever that means.
Meanwhile, lose is a loser. It has lost its other o. And if you can
remember that, you'll be a winner--grammatically speaking, at least.
Today has been one heck of a long day! Man, I'm glad we're nearing
5:00! I'm listening to my iPod again... As I do every day. Why is it
that with 700+ songs on it, when I hit 'shuffle' it tends to play the
same songs each day? That doesn't make sense. How random is the
shuffle if it keeps playing most of the same songs? You'd think with
700 songs to choose from that there'd be a bit more of a mix. I think
my iPod loves "Dirty Dawg" because I think it has played it each day at
least once. Haha. Not that I mind. All the songs are good (well, for
the most part) so it's not a bad thing. It just makes me wonder why.
Right now it is playing John Denver's "Rocky Mountain High". This is
different. I don't think it has played this one recently.
