People are so gosh darn chit-chatty today! And of course they are
standing right on the other side of my cubicle wall. Dang, they're loud
and obnoxious as heck! Why won't they shut up! Or at the very least go
somewhere else where I don't have to listen to them! I'm trying to do
my assignment for my Capstone, but I can't read one sentence without
their loud voices piercing through my head. I cannot keep my attention
on these articles that I have to read! I'm never going to get the
assigned work done at this rate. Sheesh.
I have to take summary notes from at least 5 articles. I've managed to
do one so far. I can't get through this second one because of the
chatty cathies. Grr. I want to get three done this morning and then
two this afternoon. At least that's my hopes, but who knows. I don't
want to be rushing to get it all done tomorrow. I also have to write up
my research logs for last week and this week and revamp my proposal a
little. It's a lot of unfun work.
Ron talked to Jeff last night. The insurance company is finally
agreeing to pay for Jeff's back surgery. He'll be going in on March
27th. It doesn't sound like a fun thing at all, but at least maybe now
he'll finally be able to heal and get rid of the intense pain. That's
the same week that Ron's parents will be out of town and we'll be
watching their cat. I'm so overjoyed with that fact. Not.
Ok. Now my coworkers are really starting to get on my nerves. They're
making some really annoyingly rude judgments about unwed parents and I
don't think any of them have a right to make such comments. What gives
them the right to be so high and mighty. Sheesh. Old people can be
such sticks in the mud and they hold way too tightly to old traditions.
I wonder what group of people they'll judge next. Let's listen... Shall
we? These are the same people that five minutes ago were talking about
pollution and how we all have to do things to save the planet. Yeah,
guess what? Each and EVERY one of them drives a freakin' SUV and has no
need to. So ok, go ahead. Whose car is doing more to hurt this planet?
My little Neon or their Navigators/Cherokees/Pathfinders/Aviator s?
Hmmm? I think they need to think before they comment on what other
people should do. Take a look in your own garage people and then go
ahead and say how Hummers and trucks are bad for the environment.
AH well. I think no matter what they say now I'll be annoyed with it.
They're still talking and have been since a little after 9:oo.
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
