On my drives to work in the morning, I've seen a fair number of nature's
animals. I've seen deer. I've seen bear. I've seen wild turkeys. I
see llamas at a farm. I've seen hawks and vultures. I've seen rabbits
and squirrels. I've probably seen other animals too but those are the
ones I think of first. This morning was a new experience. I saw... Get
this... Two peacocks. They were crossing the road as if they were meant
to be there. They stopped traffic for quite a bit and then they
wandered along the side of the road. Peacocks! They were soooo pretty!
If there hadn't been a dozen cars behind me, I would have stopped and
taken a picture with my camera. I have never seen peacocks roaming on
their own before. I've seen them in zoos and that's about it. It was
such a weird experience to see them walking right there... Right next to
my car. They must have escaped from something because those aren't
native to this part of the world as far as I know. They looked like this guy with the blue head and all. It
was so neat! I wonder where they came from. Hmm.

Last night I kept thinking that it was Monday and this morning I woke up
certain that today was Tuesday. For once I'm actually behind myself
instead of the other way around. I'm happy that it's actually Wednesday
and not Tuesday. I wouldn't want another day to the work week.

Today we get free Italian Ices at work. Mmmm. Perfect day for them too
because it's going to be the hottest day of the week! Yuck.

It was so hot in the house last night. It drained away all energy to do
anything. The bathroom is 99.999% done! The only thing left is for Ron
to hang the medicine cabinet. He's supposed to do that this morning.
Yay! Everything looks so cute. Once the medicine cabinet is up, I'll
take some pics and display them with some "before" shots as well.

Yesterday I read a bit more of The Time Traveler's Wife...
Probably another 100 pages or so. I love the story and the characters
but that flip-flopping of the point of view is still driving me batty.
I can understand the reasoning for writing it that way but it irks me.
The plot is great and keeps me interested so all in all I like the book.
There's just that one little pesky thing that bothers me. Lol
